Life at HHG

HHG is among the largest employers in the Hakuba Valley with a team of approximately 250 staff over the winter season. We manage hotels and restaurants in the villages surrounding Happo One Resort.

Our staff live in prime locations surrounding Happo One Resort and can walk both to work and to the ski lifts.

Winter 2024/25 Roles


Oversee the culinary operations of a kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation

Kitchen Hands

support the kitchen staff by performing various tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to ensure smooth operations and food safety standards are met


Craft and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, while ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and alcohol service regulations to create a welcoming and enjoyable bar atmosphere for guests


Prepare and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a satisfying and enjoyable coffee experience.

Floor Staff

Responsible for providing attentive and courteous service to guests, including seating patrons, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience through efficient and friendly customer interactions.


Maintain a safe and secure environment within the bar area, enforce venue policies, monitor guest behavior, and handle any disturbances or incidents to ensure the safety and enjoyment of patrons


Transport guests to and from designated locations, provide courteous and safe transportation services, and assist with luggage as needed to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay experience


Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the properties including guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, to ensure a pleasant and hygienic environment for guests

Guest Service Specialists

Provide exceptional customer service, attends to guests' needs, and ensures a pleasant and comfortable stay experience

Restaurant Managers

Supervise daily operations, coordinates staff, and ensures high-quality service and customer satisfaction in the restaurant

Hotel Managers

Oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure efficient functioning and exceptional guest experiences

Area Managers

Manage multiple restaurants or multiple hotels
