The OMM LITE/BIKE HAKUBA/OTARI 2026 is a special 10th-anniversary navigation event held in the scenic Highlands of Hakuba and Otari. Unlike the more intense "main" OMM race, the LITE and BIKE versions focus on a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere where teams of 2–5 people use map-reading skills to find checkpoints at their own pace. Participants can choose between OMM LITE (running/hiking) or OMM BIKE (cycling on trails and roads), both of which start and finish at the Iwatake Snow Plaza event center. The event emphasizes community, featuring an overnight basecamp with food booths, a bar, and live music, making it accessible for families and beginners while still serving as a great training ground for the more competitive OMM Japan race in November.
