Every summer in Hakuba there is a long held tradition of 3 consecutive festivals within the town. Usually commencing from the first day of Obon holidays.

Look forward to (but not limited to!)

• Extravagant displays of fireworks
• Live music performances
• Taiko drums
• Food stalls

As part of the Obon celebrations, there will also be ‘Bon Odori’ a traditional dance performed to welcome spirits who visit the world during this special holiday. All are encouraged to participate in this dance, with simple movements that any age can follow.
