How it Works
We will drive you from your Hakuba accommodation to Ogizawa Station which is approximately 30 minutes away and is the start of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. From there you can purchase your ticket and embark on your journey.
Dates & Availability
This attraction is open from April 15th and the best time to visit is between mid April and mid June. The route is open throughout the Green Season and is especially popular for fall foliage in October.

We recommend traveling from Ogizawa Station to Murodo Station to see the snow walls then returning the way you came. The whole journey will take about 6 hours, and we will collect you at Ogizawa station when you are ready. Below are the modes of transportation you will use while ascending into the mountains.

Fall Foliage
紅葉の色が変化するには約6週間かかり、9月下旬から11月初旬まで続きます。この変化は高い標高から始まり、徐々に山を下っていきます。この立山黒部アルペンルートは、標高ごとに変わる素晴らしい紅葉の色合いを見ることができる数少ない場所の一つとして、注目されています。一年のうちのある時期によっては、山の麓での緑豊かな葉の色と、中腹での鮮やかな赤い紅葉との目を見張るような対比、そして頂上での真っ白な雪との美しいコントラストを目にすることができます。
